American Bank and Trust Company welcomes two key executives and four associates to its Chicago management & commercial banking team
Davenport, IA - American Bank and Trust Company, headquartered in Davenport, Iowa, is pleased to announce that James E. Allen, Scott D. Theuerkauf, Garrett (Gary) Buhle, Jackie Brittain, Marlene Will and Katherine (Katie) Heim have joined its growing team of banking professionals in Chicago, IL.
A Chicago native and graduate of the University of Notre Dame, Mr. Allen will serve as chief lending officer for the Bank & Chicago market president. He is a Winfield resident and has over 24 years of commercial lending, credit administration, bank management and business development experience most recently as an executive vice president in charge of commercial banking for MidAmerica Bank.
In this new position, Jim will oversee the company’s commercial banking business unit and he will also provide leadership for the company’s Chicago staff as it continues to grow market share. Mr. Theuerkauf will serve as senior vice president & senior commercial lender in the Chicago market. He has over 20 years of commercial lending, credit analysis, business development and relationship management experience. His extensive knowledge of commercial banking and cash management will help the Bank support and expand its growing base of clients while providing leadership and guidance for the commercial staff. A native of New Jersey and a Batavia resident, Scott is a graduate of Lehigh University. His office will also be located at the Geneva branch. Mr. Buhle is a Chicago native and has a bachelor’s degree from the University of Illinois at Champaign-Urbana and a master’s degree in finance from DePaul University. In his new position, he will serve as senior vice president of commercial lending in the Chicago market. A resident of Glen Ellyn, Gary has 20 years of commercial lending experience most recently with National City Bank and MidAmerica Bank. Ms. Brittain will serve as assistant vice president, commercial lending. She has 5 years of credit analysis, commercial lending and community banking experience.
